Julie, calls herself a purse-o-holic. She loves to match everything, which is why she started making accessories to go with everything she owns. Julie believes accessorizing should be possible without breaking the bank (which is just what we ladies love to hear...LOL!). She does her best to sell all items for as reasonable a price as possible. "Now if I could only figure out how to make shoes"...gotta love her. She also makes lampwork glass beads. If you have the perfect bead, bag or idea in your head, put in a request for a custom item and she'll be more than happy to work with you on your idea... fun...fun...fun. As you'll see by the names she chooses for each of her items, she feels accessorizing should be done with a sense of humor.
As some of you may know, my son Alex (a remarkable, amazing and wonderful little boy...if I do say so myself.) is one of the many children who has been challenged with Autism. And while I may think he's one in a million, he is in fact, one in seventy. One out of seventy boys is now diagnosed with this is devastating neurological disorder and there is still no cure in sight.
What you see here not only represents the work of artisans from all over, who support the cause of Autism Awareness via their craft, but it also represents hope...the hope for a cure. Kathy and I are very pleased that an item from our shop was chosen to be part of this very special Etsy treasury!
These are just a few of the things on the "must have holiday wish list" this year to ensure the perfect haunted holiday! Like this? "Can't get enough", you say... go to http://www.etsydarkteam.webs.com/
then sit back and giggle as the darkness envelopes you.
Just look at the beautiful Etsy Treasury we've been included in. This one, featuring our aptly named, 'Key to My Heart' Artistic Apothecary Bottle. Thanks 'kate8085'!
