Learning is fun...

...that is if Megan of Etsy's FFTF&B has anything to do with it. Megan's shop, "From Fragments To Furniture & Beyond"  is a shop for kids of all ages. She specializes in fun educational toys with special needs kids in mind and creates fun ways to encourage speech, motor skills and sensory stimulation. She also makes things for kids in general and those who are a kid at heart.

We are especially pleased to show of her latest project, these colorful numbered dominoes, not only because Megan is a fellow Handmade In Vegas Team member but because she commissioned a custom domino mold from our Clay Shoppe to craft these little lovelies.

Her entire store is an explosion of color and excitement and well worth checking out.

Not your average Siren...

Coming soon to Ametista......

Mermaid MoNsTeR bOx

I finally finished her....I made a few color changes, but here is the final product.

I had made the face a long time ago and just wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it, and then I finally created this fantasy mermaid box. Even though this box went through several different transitions before the final product came to be. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as Carrie and I do.

The French Market in Las Vegas

We had a lot of fun showing our merchandise at our local "French Market". It was a beautiful day in Las Vegas (other than a little hot), but there was a nice breeze as well to help you cool off. It was a very nice turn out and we sold enough to double pay for our booth rental, as well as we got a lot of positive feedback on our artistic offerings. So to us that was a success!

Also our very good and talented friend, Laura Zollar, joined us and had her prints for sale and brought a few pieces of her original artwork with her.

Her website is a must see!

We are planning on being there again on May 30th, from 9:00am - 1:00pm, so all you locals be sure to come out to see what new items we have and buy yourself some gorgeous produce as well. It's located at Village of Centennial Springs Park, 7565 Norman Rockwell Ln. Las Vegas 89143. (N. Durango and Farm Rd.)

There were all kinds of different vendors there from produce (of course), olive oils and balsamic vinegar, handcrafted artistic cheese, handmade children's clothing, art, and so much more.

I went around and took some pictures and wanted to share their creative merchandise with you.

Bistro Blends had some very tasty and wonderful olive oils, aged balsamic vinegar (to die for) along with an assortment of marinades. Everything was very good, because I sampled them all...LOL! So be sure to click on their name to go to their website to check out the products. You'll be glad you did.

We are very serious about poly clay art...

Someone once said to me about life, "If you're not having fun, youre not doing it right."
Since then, everything in life has been viewed from that perspective. No one needs to tell you how short and unexpected life can be, so why waste ANY time?
Get to having fun...no matter WHAT you're doing!
